We operate the e-commerce website delta-petcare.com (the “Site”) and are dedicated to delivering high-quality pet care products safely and efficiently to your doorstep. This Shipping Policy details our shipping procedures, delivery timeframes, tracking protocols, and associated costs.

Please read this policy carefully before finalizing your purchase. By placing an order on our Site, you accept and agree to the guidelines and terms outlined below.


1. Order Processing Time

We process orders quickly to ensure your pets get their supplies without delay.

  • Standard Processing: All orders are processed within one to three (1-3) business days.
  • Business Days: Our fulfillment center operates Monday through Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays.
  • Cut-off Time: Orders placed after 2:00 PM PST on Friday or during the weekend will begin processing on the following Monday.
  • High Volume Delays: During peak holiday seasons or promotional events, processing may take an additional one to two (1-2) business days. We will notify you via email if a significant delay occurs.

2. Shipping Destinations

  • Domestic Shipping: We proudly ship to all provinces and territories across Canada.
  • International Shipping: We currently offer shipping to the continental United States. We do not ship to other international destinations at this time.
  • P.O. Boxes & Military Addresses: We ship to P.O. Boxes and military addresses (APO/FPO) via standard postal services only. Expedited courier services are not available for these locations.

3. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order are calculated dynamically and displayed at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and start from the date of shipping, not the date of order.

Shipping Within Canada

  • Standard Shipping: 3 to 7 business days. Free for orders over $75 CAD. A flat rate of $9.99 CAD applies to orders under $75 CAD.
  • Express Shipping: 1 to 3 business days. Costs are calculated at checkout based on package weight and destination.

Shipping to the United States

  • Standard International: 5 to 10 business days. Rates are calculated at checkout.
  • Customs and Duties: For US orders, the recipient is the importer of record. You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees levied by US authorities.

4. Order Tracking

We believe in complete transparency. You can track your package every step of the way.

  • Tracking Email: Once your package leaves our warehouse, we will automatically send a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a direct link to the carrier’s tracking portal.
  • Activation Window: Please allow up to twenty-four (24) hours for the carrier to update and activate the tracking information on their website.

5. Delivery Issues and Restrictions

  • Incorrect Address: We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete address information provided during checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an address error, the customer must pay the additional shipping fees to re-send the item.
  • Missing or Stolen Packages: If your tracking status shows “Delivered” but you have not received your package, please contact the shipping carrier directly and notify us at mossy@delta-petcare.com within forty-eight (48) hours. We will assist you in filing a claim, but we are not liable for packages stolen after verified delivery.
  • Damaged Packages: If your package arrives visibly damaged, please take photos of the packaging immediately and contact our support team.

6. Signature Requirements

For high-value orders or specific premium pet electronics, we may require a signature upon delivery. This requirement ensures the package safely reaches your hands and prevents theft. If a signature is required, this option will be clearly indicated on your shipping confirmation email.


7. Multi-Item Orders and Split Shipping

To ensure you receive your pet supplies as quickly as possible, we may occasionally split your order into multiple shipments. This happens if certain items are stocked in different fulfillment centers or if an item faces a brief inventory delay. You will receive unique tracking numbers for each separate shipment at no extra cost to you.
